Adhesive Primer Sealer

Adhesive Primer Sealer is versatile primer that offers superior adhesion, water sealing, and penetration into the existing surfaces. This high resin formula by definition is an acrylic-urethane-elastomeric primer. It goes on white but dries to a tacky transparent membrane. APS is designed to prepare chalky or poorly conditioned surfaces.

It is designed for exterior walls and roofs. APS can be pushed into porous surfaces to seal small cracks and voids. On non-porous surfaces the high resin content provides excellent adhesion to the surface and form a tight bond with the finish coat. APS is specifically designed to be used with Rhino Shield wall and roof finish coats.

This versatile primer is ideal for stucco, cement, block, brick, metal, asbestos, clay, adobe, stone, wood, and plywood. It may also be used on existing water based paints and stain blocking primers (with good adhesion). Always check moisture levels and follow the complete application manual for limitations.

Protect Deck Coating

Protect™ Deck Coating is a high build coating designed for wood decks and railings. The elastomeric ceramic coating is a great option to restore, protect, and paint weathered decks. Protect Deck has been extensively tested to provide long term weathering, repel moisture, and offer superior abrasion resistance.

Protect Deck penetrates wood surfaces and can expand and contract with wood movement. The ceramic coating is tinted to the customer preference and offers an attractive appearance. Offering excellent water repellency, PROTECT DECK seals wood surfaces to help prevent rotting and decay associated with wet wood. Sand and Pumice mixture may be added to increase traction and texture where desired. This self-priming thick system is an alternative to deck replacement by sealing cracks and splinters.

Protect Deck may be used on wood decks, docks, railings, spindles, and composite wood. It is for use on new or old wood and over previously coated or stained surfaces. Always check compatibility for previous stains, especially those with silicone or fresh oils. Protect may be used to fill and bridge cracks up to ¼ inch and larger cracks with recommend preparation work.

Durable Finish Coat

Durable Finish Coat is an acrylic urethaneelastomeric coating with 3M microspheres as a primary solid. This ceramic coating formula beautifies and protects exterior wall surfaces. The high build flexible coating seals cracks, and expands and contracts with temperature variation. Loaded with reflective pigments and ceramic microspheres, DFC adds insulation and sound blocking properties. Along with the APS primer, the DFC system excels at keeping water from penetrating and helps to water proof the surface. DFC is formulated and tested to resist mildew, algae, fungi and other biological growth. That combined with superior dirt pick-up resistance enable the coating to look great for many years with minimal maintenance. DFC is a class ‘A’ fire rated coating.

Durable Finish Coat can be used on equipment, walls, pipes, holding tanks, roofs, etc. Possesses excellent adhesion on weathered wood, shakes, plywood, clapboard, primed metal, galvanized, primed synthetic or aluminum siding, tin, copper, asbestos, asphalt, urethane, polyester, polystyrene, Styrofoam, fiber-glass, clay, adobe, brick, stucco, slate, slab and various other substrates. For interior or exterior use on residential, commercial and industrial applications.

Cement Board Primer

Cement Board Primer (CBP) is a white, acrylic elastomeric, adhesive, bonding Primer Sealer. A waterborne, latex based, high resin content formula that is specifically engineered for sealing and conditioning porous interior and exterior cement board siding, stucco, and block. CBP tolerates variable pH levels found in cement boards such as Hardieplank® and reduces the risk of color burn due to high alkaline levels. It can also block the high pH common in new masonry and ensure a uniform look and long-lasting finish. It is highly alkali and efflorescence resistant and can be applied to surfaces with a pH of 6 to 11. CBP revitalizes and strengthens the surface to which it is applied, efflorescence, spalling and segregation. Excellent penetrating characteristics enable CBP to permeate into the substrate providing a permanent bond to the finish coat. On non-porous substrates, the high resin content provides excellent adhesion to the surface then forming a tight bond to the finish coat. The bond that is formed between CBP and the finish coat helps reduce moisture under the finish coat thus extending the coating’s life considerably. CBP is especially designed for use with DFC or PFC finish coats.

Super Shield Flat Roof

Super Shield is a bright white acrylic elastomeric roof coating. This ceramic formula offers substantial waterproofing and insulation benefits. Super Shield forms a thick rubber like membrane with excellent flexibility and tensile strength. Easy to apply, the roof coating extends the life of the roof, is cheaper than reroofing, provides a layer of leak protection, and is mold resistant.
